There will be lots to see and do. We have a variety of stalls\, refreshments\, attractions\, featured entertainment\, family fun races\, fun dog show\, as well as the Yateley Vehicle Show and Car Boot Sale. \nWe would also like to invite you to come to the Lions Gazebo to vote for your favourite poster design\, a competition we are running for some of the local schools. Theme: Environment \nCome and enjoy our annual Bank Holiday May Fayre\nHow to get here:\nSat Nav: GU46 6QD \nWalking\nWe encourage people to walk to the event wherever possible. \nParking\nThere is limited on-field parking available off Firgrove Road for a donation. \nOn-road parking is discouraged. \nDisabled Parking\nThere are a very limited number of disabled parking spaces actually in the council car park\, and we will fit in as many Blue Badge holders as we can. but spaces do fill up quickly. We do have to keep space available for emergency access and emergency vehicles.We do hope you understand. \nWe also endeavour to have some additional disabled parking slots off The Link and Firgrove Road (where the car boot sale is). \nAccessibility\nThis event is on a public village green\, so is mainly grass. The area is flat. The test measures the level of PSA (prostate-specific antigen) in your blood. PSA is made by the prostate gland. Some of it will leak into your blood\, and the amount depends on your age and the health of your prostate. \n  \nDonations to Yateley & District Lions Club \nWhilst Yateley & District Lions Club are funding a limited number of spaces at no charge\, of course\, as a registered charity\, we would be grateful for any donations\, of any amount. Cash donations can be popped in the donations bucket on the day\, or via Sum-Up machines. You can also donate to Yateley and District Lions Club by clicking here – this takes you to website donation page. \nEvery penny of the fundraising we do goes back out into our projects and events\, we aim to serve our local community. \n  \nVolunteers \nAll the events and things we do are only possible by our team of Lions Club members and volunteers. We are actively seeking welcoming new members to enable us to continue to do so. We have sub-committees too for welfare and fundraising for example. \nWe all are volunteers\, and those that do not want to become members\, still come along and volunteer at our events as ‘Friends of Yateley Lions’. DESCRIPTION:Sign Ups available NOW\n  \nYateley and District Lions Club are\, once again\, funding a limited number of FREE PSA tests (usual cost £26 per person) for Yateley residents over the age of 40 years. \nThese tests are being carried out for us by The Graham Fulford Charitable Trust. \nYou will need to login to your account\, or register for a new account\, before you can proceed with booking your place or for reviewing any of your existing bookings. \nCLICK HERE TO BOOK\nAbout the PSA Test \nThe PSA Test is a blood test which can detect the early signs of prostate cancer. The test measures the level of PSA (prostate-specific antigen) in your blood. PSA is made by the prostate gland. Some of it will leak into your blood\, and the amount depends on your age and the health of your prostate. \n  \nDonations to Yateley & District Lions Club \nWhilst Yateley & District Lions Club are funding a limited number of spaces at no charge\, of course\, as a registered charity\, we would be grateful for any donations\, of any amount. Cash donations can be popped in the donations bucket on the day\, or via Sum-Up machines. You can also donate to Yateley and District Lions Club by clicking here – this takes you to website donation page. \nEvery penny of the fundraising we do goes back out into our projects and events\, we aim to serve our local community. \n  \nVolunteers \nAll the events and things we do are only possible by our team of Lions Club members and volunteers. We are actively seeking welcoming new members to enable us to continue to do so. If you are interested\, please email secretary@yateleylions.co.uk and ask any questions\, or. you can fill in the form here  \nOur members attend our business meetings once a month (2nd Wednesday of each month) where all the projects need to be discussed and mutual agreement of funding requests are voted upon. We plan and update at these meetings\, and frequently have speakers from other charitable organisations\, particular updates from those we have supported or sponsored. We have sub-committees too for welfare and fundraising for example. \nWe all are volunteers\, and those that do not want to become members\, still come along and volunteer at our events as ‘Friends of Yateley Lions’.
