School Environment Day Poster Competition 2024
Yateley & District Lions are running a poster competition, tying in with World Environment Day on 5th June 2024, for pupils of our local schools.
We invited local school pupils to design posters with ‘environment’ as the theme. The short-listed posters we had received were put on display at our Bank Holiday May Fayre and the general public have placed their votes. It has been a difficult choice but we would like to say well done to all our participants – all you pupils are a talented bunch, and well informed about looking after the environment.
Remaining entries are set to be voted on shortly.
Yateley Lions are donating each school a free set of books from the Wild Tribe Heroes series: More about Wild Tribe Hero books
Winning pupils from each school will each win a prize donated by one of our Lion members as well as being awarded winning certificates. We will also be awarding a certificate to all pupils that participated.
